The cassette insect screen system is specially designed for existing greenhouses and is mounted directly onto the existing structure. Thanks to the smart aluminum profiles and accordion mesh, the system can be installed quickly and efficiently without requiring modifications to the ventilation window. The slat width is adjusted according to the greenhouse type: 70 mm for Venlo greenhouses, 90 mm for wide-span or foil greenhouses.
The UV-stabilized polyester slats fit tightly together and are supported by specially developed EPDM rubbers, ensuring reliable sealing and minimal insect penetration. The smart design maintains ventilation capacity while providing a more stable growing climate with reduced dependence on chemical agents.

Venlo Greenhouse
The Venlo greenhouse has been a popular greenhouse type in horticulture for many years. Thanks to standardized modules, this greenhouse is quick to build, easy to expand, and economical to use. The design works well with automation and mechanization.
Standard bay widths vary from 3.2 to 4.8 meters, but by combining multiple bays per truss, spans up to 12.8 meters or more are possible. Another advantage is the space under the screen: since the screen installation is close to the gutter, sufficient working height and ventilation space remain.
The gutter height of modern Venlo greenhouses ranges between 6.0 and 7.0 meters, providing a spacious and well-controllable growing climate. This makes the Venlo greenhouse a reliable foundation for efficient and future-proof cultivation.
Wide-span Greenhouse
The wide-span greenhouse is based on the same construction as the Venlo greenhouse but with a much wider bay width. Starting at 9.6 or 12.8 meters, it can be built even wider – ideal for growers seeking more space and efficiency.
The larger greenhouse volume creates a higher ridge at the same gutter height, resulting in a more stable greenhouse climate. The common gutter height is between 5.0 and 6.0 meters, providing sufficient space for optimal crop growth.

Construction and Materials
Guide System
Aluminum guide pins are used for guidance. The mesh is firmly attached to the guide using mesh hooks. The guidance system ensures that the slats are stacked precisely on top of each other. This system prevents the insect screen from falling in or out.
Guide pins are placed at each intermediate rod and connected at the ridge to prevent height differences. Both guides are positioned alternately on the slats, ensuring a very large surface area falls within the reach of the guide pins.
The guidance system is made of aluminum tubing and features lightweight, strong, flexible, and easy-to-mount properties.
Safety and Stability
An aluminum guide rod at the front prevents the slats from moving inward or outward. This keeps the system stable, even under wind load or varying climate conditions.
Quick Installation
Thanks to a specially developed clamp bracket that fits directly onto the deck rod, the system can be mounted quickly and accurately. This saves time during installation and reduces the chance of assembly errors.
